is it possible to have a constant "merry" (meaning happy) christmas after lossing innocence (i.e. figuring out that not everyone loves you, your parents aren't superheros, people are relatively good?, etc)... as a child christmas is the holygrail the one thing that makes your whole sucky year worth while... but once you've lost that innocence, that blissful blissful ignorence, is it a "merry" christmas? seeing that a very commercial holiday isn't going to make everything go right (whatever "right" is) or fix all problems.... so... again... can you have a constant "merry" christmas after lossing that innocence that made christmas so great?
hmm... i guess im just in a awfully grinchy mood .
