Confetti in my Popcorn

ive literally been in hibernation all weekend, so i have PLENTY of energy right now.... my freshman year is swiftly coming to a close and it's been a pretty mellow year... the memories i have of this year is Homecoming week at the bonfire, fieldhockey, christmas, friends, older friends, pep-rallies, exams, soccer, more friends, annoying friends, typical teenage talk [drugs, alcohol, permits, summer jobs, etc], you know.... all i have for this summer just as last summer is probably just fieldhockey... oh, i think i might be taking a writing class err whatever.. yeahhh.....
~~~i remember this one time me and my mom were driving back home and i saw this guy walking down the street wearing a helmet!... you dont really know what to think when you see that... maybe he's scared he's gonna hit his head? maybe he lost his bike, and forgot to take it off? who knows... why do we all wear a helmet? for protection, for safety, to forget... why don't we wear a helmet? pride, confidence, invincibility... not always physical helmet all the time, but an emotional one... hmm....
  1. Very interesting thought Tortoise. It would help us greatly if we could cover our heads with confidence, peace, joy, invincibility, etc. These things will help us to deal with lifes ups and downs. More times than not, I find we cover/crown our heads with despair, disappointment, discouragement, etc and wonder why we live in such a depress state. God has given us so much, that we take for granted, I wonder if we removed the hats/helmets from our head what would be uncovered?
